Roberto Busti
Roberto Busti (born November 22, 1940 in Busto Arsizio ) is Bishop Emeritus of Mantua .
Life
The Archbishop of Milan , Giovanni Colombo , ordained him a priest on June 27, 1964 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Mantua on July 13, 2007. The Archbishop of Milan , Dionigi Cardinal Tettamanzi , donated him episcopal ordination on September 22nd of the same year ; Co - consecrators were Attilio Cardinal Nicora , Cardinal Prefect of the Property Administration of the Apostolic See , and Egidio Caporello , Former Bishop of Mantua. As a motto he chose Omnes salvos facere . The inauguration in the diocese of Mantua took place on October 7th of the same year.
Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on June 3, 2016.
