The Route nationale 844 , or N 844 or RN 844 for short , was a French national road on Corsica that ran from L'Île-Rousse to the N197 on the Golfe de Calvi from 1933 to 1973. The length was 43 kilometers. Today the number is used for most of the Boulevard Périphérique de Nantes. It covers almost the entire ring except for the northernmost part, which operates as the A844. This section of the motorway connects the A11 with the A82.
