The N102 is a French national road that was laid in two parts in 1824 between Lempdes-sur-Allagnon and the N86 near Viviers . It goes back to the route impériale 122. Their total length was 172 kilometers. The Auberge de Peyrebeille was on their way . In 1883 she was given a tour of Pradelles , which she extended by 4 kilometers. She took over part of the N106. The old route was graduated and revived in 1933 as the national road with the number 102 A. In 1978 the N88 took over the route between the junction of the south branch of the N102 and the junction south of Pradelles with the N500. The N102 itself received a slightly different guide in 1978:

  • N 102 Lempdes-sur-Allagnon - Le Puy-en-Velay
  • interrupted by N88
  • N 102 A north of Pradelles - Lanarce
  • N 102 Lanarce - east of Villeneuve-de-Berg
  • N 540 east of Villeneuve-de-Berg - Le Teil

The sections between the junction south of Pradelles and Lanarce and east of Villeneuve-de-Berg and Viviers have been graded. In some sections, the N102 runs on bypass roads. Until 2006, the old town throughways had the number N2102.

The N102 A was a branch of the N102 from 1933 to 1973, which was an alternative route to this between a junction north of Pradelles and Lanarce. The length was 14 kilometers. Before 1883 this route was part of the N102 and was part of it again in 1978.

N102b

The N102 B was a branch of the N102 in Aubenas from 1970 to 1973, which was created by relocating the N102. It connected the N102 with the N104 and is now number D118.
