The N120 was a French national road established in 1824 between Bozouls-La Rotonde and the N20 south of Uzerche. It goes back to the route impériale 140 . It was placed on a new route through the Lot gorge in 1889 between Entraygues-sur-Truyères and Bozouls-la Rotonde . The old route now bears the numbers D904 and D20 . The length was 188 kilometers. In 1973 it was shortened to the section between Aurillac and Uzerche and completely phased in 2006.
