The Route nationale 149 Bis , or N 149 Bis or RN 149 Bis for short , was a French national road .

The national road was established in 1826 between La Roche-sur-Yon and Parthenay and goes back to parts of the department road  1 and the route stratégique  11 and  13 . Their length was 89 kilometers. In 1933, the section between La Roche-sur-Yon and Bournezeau was taken over by national road 148 . The length fell to 68 kilometers. In 1973 the national road 149 was downgraded. It did not have an intersection with its main road N 149, even if the N 149 runs through Parthenay today. This is national road 148 Bis , which was rededicated in 1978.
