The Route nationale 138 TER , or N 138 TER or RN 138 TER for short , was a French national road .

It was established in 1862 between Thouars and a junction with the former national road 137 north of Marans and goes back to the route stratégique  2 established in 1833 . Their length was 105 kilometers. In 1973 it was completely phased out.
