The Route nationale 135 , or N 135 or RN 135 for short , is a French national road .

The road was laid down in 1824 between Barcelonne-du-Gers and Bagnères-de-Bigorre and goes back to route 155 impériale. At that time, its length was 90 kilometers. In 1933 it was extended to Sainte-Marie-de-Campan via the route thermale 1 established in 1860 , where it was then connected to national road 618 . The length grew by 12 kilometers. 1973 the national road was graduated. The former section between Bar-le-Duc and Ligny-en-Barrois of national road 66 has been numbered N 135 since 1978. Since 2000, a new bypass road with the designation N 1135 has been built parallel between Longeville-en-Barrois and Bar-le-Duc . National road 135 is to be relocated to this and the current route will then be graded on the parallel section.

The Route nationale 135 A , or N 135 A or RN 135 A for short , was a French national road and a side branch of the N 135, which branched off from 1933 to 1973 in Vic-en-Bigorre and ran to Rabastens-de-Bigorre . Their length was seven kilometers.

N1135

The N1135 is a side branch of the new N135. It runs between Bar-le-Duc and Tannois north of the Paris – Strasbourg line . Its first section was put into operation in 1993. In places the road is signposted as the N135, so that it can be assumed that this will in future become part of the N135 and that the route through Longeville-en-Barrois will be graded.
