The Route nationale 316 , N 316 or RN 316 for short , is a French national road that ran between Caër and Aumale from 1933 to 1973. In 1978 the number was used for a new connection road between Rosny-sous-Bois and Fontenay-sous-Bois. This was integrated into the A86 in the 1980s. Since 1993 there has been the N316 as a connection road from the A16 to the port area of Dunkerque.
