The Route nationale 129 , shortly N 129 or RN 129 , is a French national road .

The road was laid down in 1824 between a junction with the former national road 21 south of Auch and the Spanish border at Port d'Ourdissetou and goes back to route impériale 149. The road over the 2403 meter high pass was never expanded, so that to this day it can only be hiked. You can drive up to the Hospice de Riomajou, which is 1560 meters high . The length excluding the hiking trail is 115 kilometers.

In 1933 the course of the road was therefore removed from the village of Vallée du Rioumajou , the road up to the Hospice was graded to Départementsstraße 19 and at the same time extended from Tramezaïgues to Aragnouet-Fabian . In 1957 the road was then extended to the dam of the Lac de Cap de Long . The length was now 122.5 kilometers. In 1973 the entire course of the N 129 road was graded. In 1978 the number was assigned for the connection between exit 24 of Autobahn 7 and national road 7 near Avignon .
