Tramezaïgues is a French commune with 34 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Bagnères-de-Bigorre and the canton of Neste, Aure et Louron .

The municipality's capital is 960  m on the left side of the Vallée d'Aure , through which the Neste d'Aure river runs. The place is about 50 km southeast of Lourdes . The community has an extremely low population density, partly due to its altitude.

The municipality is located southwest of the municipality of Saint-Lary-Soulan in the Pyrenees National Park .

The municipality has several cultural monuments that are classified as Monument historique .

  • Ruines du château de Tramezaygues ( German : Ruins of the Tramezaïgues Castle ): built in the 12th century, renovated in 1990 and monument historique since 1980 .
  • Église Saint-Denis Saint-Nicolas ( German : Church of Saints Denis and Nikolaus ), church with Romanesque apse. The rest of the church was rebuilt in the 15th, 16th and 19th centuries
