Houeydets ( Occitan : Hueidèth ) is a municipality with 267 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the French department of Hautes-Pyrénées in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the canton of La Vallée de l'Arros et des Baïses (until 2015: canton Galan ) in the arrondissement of Bagnères-de-Bigorre . The residents call themselves Houeydetsois .
geography
Houeydets is about 25 kilometers east-southeast of Tarbes . Neighboring municipalities are Castelbajac in the north, Campistrous in the east, Lagrange in the south, Lutilhous in the southwest and Bégole in the west.
