Camparan is a French commune with 55 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitanie region (previously Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Bagnères-de-Bigorre and the canton of Neste, Aure et Louron vielle-Aure .

The municipality's capital lies at over 900  m on the western flank of the Vallée d'Aure , through which the Neste d'Aure river runs. The place is about three kilometers from Saint-Lary-Soulan and 180 km southwest of Toulouse . It can be reached from the streets of Estensan, Bourisp and Bazus. The houses are laid out around the centrally located church and the town hall and extend along the street. The community has a very low population density, partly due to its altitude.
