Vignec ( Occitan : Biec ) is a French commune with 222 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Bagnères-de-Bigorre and the canton of Neste, Aure et Louron (until 2015 vielle-Aure ). The inhabitants are called Vignecois .

Vignec is located about 30 kilometers south-southeast of Bagnères-de-Bigorre . Vignec is surrounded by the neighboring communities Vielle-Aure and Saint-Lary-Soulan in the north and east, cadeilhan-trachère in the south and Aragnouet in the West.
