Sailhan is a French commune with 161 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Bagnères-de-Bigorre and the canton of Neste, Aure et Louron . The residents are called "Sailhanais" and "Sailhanaises".

The municipality's capital lies in the Mousquere valley , a tributary of the Neste d'Aure , into which it flows in the Vallée d'Aure . The place is over 920  m above sea level. The place is 40 kilometers south of Lannemezan and 44 kilometers southeast of Lourdes . The community has an extremely low population density, partly due to its altitude.
