The canton of Neste, Aure et Louron is a French constituency in the arrondissement of Bagnères-de-Bigorre , in the Hautes-Pyrénées department and in the Occitanie region ; its main town is Capvern .

history

The canton was created when the French cantons were redistributed in 2015. Its communes come from the former cantons Arreau (all 19 communes), Bordères-Louron (all 15 communes), vielle-Aure (all 14 communes), La Barthe-de- Neste (14 of the 19 municipalities) and Lannemezan (1 municipality; Capvern).

The canton is located in the southern half of the Hautes-Pyrénées department and borders on Spain.
