The Canton Séméac was 2015 a French constituency in Arrondissement of Tarbes , in the Hautes-Pyrenees and the region Midi-Pyrenees ; its main town was Séméac . His representative in the General Council of the Department was last from 1988 to 2015, last re-elected in 2008, Guy Dufaure.
geography
The canton was located in the middle of the department southeast of the city of Tarbes . In the west it bordered the cantons of Laloubère and Tarbes-2 , in the north on the canton Aureilhan , in the northeast on the canton Pouyastruc , in the east on the canton Tournay and in the south on the canton Bagnères-de-Bigorre . Its area ranged from 270 m in Angos to 558 m in vielle-Adour above sea level .
