Barbazan-Debat is a commune in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitanie region (previously Midi-Pyrénées ) in France . It is located in the Arrondissement of Tarbes , was part of the canton of Séméac and is now the seat of the canton of Moyen-Adour .
Barbazan-Debat has 3463 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) on 9.78 square kilometers and is two kilometers east of the Adour , about five kilometers southeast of Tarbes . The Alaric Canal runs through the community. The A64 autoroute runs through the municipality .
