Mingot ( Occitan Mingòt ) is a town in the south of France and a municipality with 99 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the north of the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitania region .
Location and climate
The municipality of Mingot in the foothills of the Pyrenees at an altitude of about 280 m . The city of Tarbes is about 20 km southwest. The climate is temperate to warm; Rain (approx. 830 mm / year) falls over the year.

Attractions
The Église Saint-Jean-l'Evangéliste , which is surrounded by the local cemetery and built at the end of the 19th century on the site of a previous medieval building, is dedicated to John the Evangelist . The bell gable (clocher mur) that rises above the unadorned facade is covered by a small gable roof to protect the bells .
