Siarrouy ( Occitan : Siarroi ) is a French commune with 436 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitania region (until 2015 Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Tarbes , the canton of Vic-en-Bigorre and the Adour Madiran municipal association founded in 2016 . The inhabitants are called Siarrouyais .

geography

Siarrouy is in the north of the Bigorre countryside , about 14 kilometers northwest of Tarbes and 38 kilometers east of Pau . The Échez flows through the municipality in the Adour catchment area . Siarrouy is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Talazac in the north, Pujo in the northeast, Andrest in the east, Gayan and Lagarde in the south, Tarasteix in the west and southwest and Montaner in the northwest.
