Puntous ( Occitan : Puntós ) is a French commune with 181 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitania region ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Tarbes . The inhabitants are called Puntousais .
geography
Puntous is located around 30 kilometers northeast of the city of Tarbes on the Petite Baïse in the east of the Hautes-Pyrénées department. Puntous is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Guizerix in the north and west, Larroque in the north and east, Barthe in the south-east, Betpouy and Hachan in the south, Campuzan in the south and south-west and Puydarrieux in the south-west.
