The Petite Baïse is a river in southwest France in the Occitania region . It rises in the municipality of Lannemezan , on the plateau of Lannemezan of the same name , drains in a general northerly direction and flows after 75 kilometers at L'Isle-de-Noé as a right tributary into the Grande Baïse , which changes its name from here and is only called Baïse . It crosses the Hautes-Pyrénées and Gers departments on its way .
