Monléon-Magnoac ( Occitan : Montlion ) is a French commune with 439 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitania region ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Tarbes . The inhabitants are called Monléonnais .
geography
Monléon-Magnoac is located around 35 kilometers northeast of the city of Tarbes am Gers in the east of the Hautes-Pyrénées department on the border with the Gers department. Monléon-Magnoac is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Aries-Espénan in the north, Devèze in the north and northeast, Villemur in the east and northeast, Bazordan in the east and southeast, Boudrac in the southeast, Arné in the south, Monlong and Lassales in the southwest, Gaussan and Laran in the West, Caubous to the west and northwest, and Cizos to the northwest.
