Attractions
The simple village church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste , consecrated to John the Baptist , was set on fire by the Huguenots in 1569 . It was repaired, but damaged again in an earthquake in 1660. During the revolutionary years the rectory was sold. After renewed earthquake damage, the local residents began a thorough restoration at their own expense in 1819. In 1999 the church was restored again. The bell of the first church survived all damage.
