Collegiate Church of Ibos

Ibos is a French commune in the department of Hautes-Pyrénées in the region Occitania . It is located in the Arrondissement of Tarbes and in the canton of Bordères-sur-l'Échez .

Ibos has 2895 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) on 32.88 square kilometers and is four kilometers west of Tarbes in the Bigorre . The A64 Autoroute (the Tarbes-Ouest junction is in the municipality) and Route nationale 21 run through the municipality . The Souy and Échez flow through the municipality .

The Collégiale of Ibos was in 1342 by Philip VI. de Valois , who was also Count of Bigorre, donated. This collegiate church was declared a monument historique in 1875 .
