Salles-Adour ( Occitan Salas Ador ) is a French municipality with 594 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Hautes-Pyrénées in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Midi-Pyrenees ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Tarbes , to the canton of Moyen-Adour (until 2015 canton of Séméac ). The residents call themselves Sallois .
geography
Salles-Adour is located about five kilometers south-southeast of Tarbes in the historic province of Bigorre on the upper reaches of the Adour River in the foothills of the Pyrenees . Salles-Adour is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Soues in the north, Barbazan-Debat in the east and northeast, Allier in the east and southeast, Bernac-Debat in the south, Momères in the southwest and Horgues in the west.
