The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Tarbes and the canton of La Vallée de l'Arros et des Baïses (until 2015: canton of Tournay ).

Population development

After records began, the population rose to a peak of around 465 by the first half of the 19th century. In the following period, the size of the community fell with brief recovery phases until the 1990s to its lowest value of around 105 inhabitants before a growth phase began, which continues to this day.
