Sadournin ( Occitan Sadornin ) is a southern French municipality with 183 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the extreme north of the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitania region .
Location and climate
The municipality of Sadournin is located in the foothills of the Pyrenees at an altitude of about 330 m . The nearest city, Tarbes, is a good 33 km southwest. The climate is temperate to warm; Rain (approx. 850 mm / year) falls mainly in the winter half-year.

history
The place name is of Latin Gascognic origin, but it was not mentioned for the first time until the 12th century. From the Middle Ages until the beginning of the French Revolution , the municipality was part of the historic Bigorre province .
