Orleix ( Occitan : Orleish ) is a French commune in the department of Hautes-Pyrénées in the region Occitania . It is located in the Arrondissement of Tarbes and belongs to the canton of Bordères-sur-l'Échez .
Orleix has 2127 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) on 8.28 square kilometers and is located about six kilometers northeast of Tarbes in the Bigorre . The National Route 21 runs through the municipality . The Alaric Canal flows here .
