Trie-sur-Baise is a French commune with 1,043 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Hautes-Pyrénées in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Tarbes and the canton of Les Coteaux (until 2015 canton of Trie-sur-Baïse ). The residents call themselves Triais .

Trie-sur-Baïse is located about 26 kilometers east-northeast of Tarbes on the Baïse River in the foothills of the Pyrenees . Trie-sur-Baïse is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Fontrailles in the north, Sadournin in the east, Puydarrieux in the south-east, Tournous-Darré in the south, Vidou in the south-west, Lalanne-Trie in the west, Lapeyre in the west and north-west and Bernadets-Debat in the north-west.
