Soublecause ( Occitan : Soblacausa ) is a French commune with 187 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitania region (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Tarbes and the canton of Val d'Adour-Rustan-Madiranais (until 2015: canton of Castelnau-Rivière-Basse ).

Soublecause is located around 35 kilometers northeast of the city of Pau on the border with the neighboring Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in the Aquitaine region . Soublecause is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Madiran in the north and north-west, Hères in the north-east, Labatut-Rivière in the east, Caussade-Rivière in the south-east, Hagedet in the south, Bétracq in the west and south-west.
The municipality is part of the Béarn wine region . Wines from the Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh appellation are produced here.
