Lourdes-2 is a French constituency in the Argelès-Gazost arrondissement , in the Hautes-Pyrénées department and in the Occitania region ; its main town is Lourdes .
history
The canton was created when the French cantons were redistributed in 2015. Its municipalities come from the former cantons of Lourdes-Est (all 26 municipalities) and Lourdes-Ouest (1 municipality; Adé). Then there are the eastern districts of the city of Lourdes.

The canton is located in the west of the Hautes-Pyrénées department.

In the first ballot on March 22, 2015, none of the five candidate pairs achieved an absolute majority. In the runoff election on March 29, 2015, Josette Bourdeu / Bruno Vinualès (both PRG) won against Marie-Noëlle Assouère / Sylvain Peretto (Union de la Droite) with a share of the vote of 55.00% (turnout: 56.97%) .
