The canton of Rabastens-de-Bigorre was until 2015 a French constituency in the arrondissement of Tarbes , in the department of Hautes-Pyrénées and in the region of Midi-Pyrénées ; its main town was Rabastens-de-Bigorre . His representative in the General Council of the Département was Roland Dubertrand from 2008 to 2015.
geography
The canton was in the north of the department. In the west it bordered on the canton of Vic-en-Bigorre , in the north-west on the canton Maubourguet , in the north-east on the Département Gers , in the east on the canton Trie-sur-Baïse and in the south on the cantons Pouyastruc , Aureilhan and Bordères-sur -l'Échez . Its area was between 156 m in Buzon and 385 m in Saint-Sever-de-Rustan above sea level .
