geography
The municipality is located in the historic province of Bigorre , in the Pays d'Aure countryside . Neighboring communities are:
- Cazaux-Fréchet-Anéran-Camors in the north-west,
- Mont in the west,
- Loudervielle in the south
- Army owl in the southwest, as well
- Adervielle-Pouchergues to the west.
The municipality's capital is located in the Vallée du Louron on the Neste du Louron river , which also runs through Bordères-Louron . In the municipality, mountainous land and forest predominate up to altitudes of 1100 meters. Since this is hardly populated, there is a low population density.
