Libaros ( Occitan : Libaròs ) is a municipality with 136 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the French department of Hautes-Pyrénées in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the canton of La Vallée de l'Arros et des Baïses (until 2015: canton Galan ) in the arrondissement of Bagnères-de-Bigorre . The inhabitants call themselves Libarosia .
geography
Libaros is about 25 kilometers east-northeast of Tarbes . Neighboring communities are Puydarrieux in the north, Campuzan in the northeast, Tournous-Devant in the east, Galan in the east and southeast, Montastruc in the south and southwest, Bonnefont in the west and Sentous in the west and northwest.
