Parish Church of Saint Martin

The parish was a branch parish of Arreau until 1860 and then a vicar cared for the parish. The semicircular apse and a tympanum with the monogram of Christ have been preserved near the church from the Romanesque period . The first significant renovations took place at the end of the 16th century with the addition of a side aisle with a ribbed vault on the north side, as evidenced by the year "1589" on a keystone . In addition, a bell tower replaced the previous simple bell gable . In 1869 the community decided to enlarge the church and commissioned the architect Verdier from Arreau. However, financial problems forced the project to be canceled. In 1877, the episcopal architects Durand and Simian presented new plans that included the construction of a south aisle with a ribbed vault, a new entrance and an external stair tower to access the bell tower. The work was completed in June 1880, the acceptance took place in August 1882. The interior of the church was partially renewed, for example with the purchase of three altars made of white marble in July 1880.

The main nave has a barrel vault . the choir is equipped with a boiler vault. Due to the area on which the church stands, the bell tower was built in the western part on the slope above the church building. The entrance is on its ground floor. It is covered with a polygonal helmet .
