Cazaux-Debat is a French commune with 32 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Bagnères-de-Bigorre and the canton of Neste, Aure et Louron .
geography
The municipality is located in the historic province of Bigorre , in the Pays d'Aure countryside . The Spanish border on the ridge of the Pyrenees is about 15 kilometers further south. Neighboring municipalities of Cazaux-Debat are Jézeau in the north, Ris in the east, Bordères-Louron in the south, Lançon in the west and Arreau in the north-west.
The municipality's capital is in the valley called Vallée du Louron , on the Neste du Louron river , which flows through Bordères-Louron at the bottom of the valley .
