Saint-Lary-Soulan ( Occitan : Sent Lari e Sola ) is a French commune with 835 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Bagnères-de-Bigorre and the canton of Neste, Aure et Louron (until 2015 vielle-Aure ).

The Soulan exclave is part of the community and is connected by a hiking trail .

Saint-Lary-Soulan is located about 27 kilometers south-southeast of Bagnères-de-Bigorre . Saint-Lary-Soulan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Aulon in the north, vielle-Aure in the north, Sailhan and Ens in the northeast, Azet and Génos in the east, Gistaín in the south and southeast, Bielsa in the south and southwest, Tramezaïgues and Aragnouet in the southwest as well Barèges to the west and north-west.
