The Route nationale 194 , or N 194 or RN 194 for short , is a French national road in Corsica .

The road was laid between Bastia and Saint-Florent in 1836 . The length was 23 kilometers. In 1933, the route was changed so that it took over the course of National Road 196 bis . In return, the previous route of the N 194 was divided into National Road 198 and National Road 199 . In 1973 the 119 kilometer long N 194 was graded. In 1978 the national road was awarded for a piece of the national road 193 near Ajaccio, as it was led on a new route through the airport. This piece is to be downgraded to a departmental or communal road in the future.
