Culture
There is a special spectacle to see on Good Friday: Here the procession of the Catenacciu , the “Chained”, leads through the city from the Sainte-Marie church to the Saint-Sébastien chapel . The people accompany the great penitent in his red robe and the little penitent in his white robe on their difficult journey. The great penitent carries a large and heavy wooden cross on his back and a no less heavy chain on his feet. He falls to the ground several times. The little penitent supports him on his way. Both men are incognito; their identity is known only to the local pastor.
