Zoza is a French commune with 54 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Corse-du-Sud department in the Corsica region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Sartène and the municipality of L'Alta Rocca .
geography
Zoza is located at 210 m above sea level, about 20 kilometers east-northeast of the port town of Propriano in the mountains of the island of Corsica in the southwest of the Corsica Regional Nature Park . Zoza is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Zérubia in the north, Serra-di-Scopamène in the northeast, San-Gavino-di-Carbini in the east (point of contact), Altagène in the south, Sainte-Lucie-de-Tallano and Loreto-di-Tallano in the southwest as well as Cargiaca in the west. The municipal area of 5.05 km² is almost completely forested. The Rizzanese flows through Zoza from northeast to southwest . From the Rizzanesetal, the terrain rises steeply and in the east of the municipality reaches heights of over 700 m above sea level ( Punta Tighiarella 760 m, Monte Grossu 802 m).

Infrastructure
Zoza is remote in the interior of Corsica. A narrow street leads south and over the main road D 268 to the small towns of Propriano and Sartène .
