Carbini ( Corsican Càrbini ) is a municipality in the French department of Corse-du-Sud on the Mediterranean island of Corsica . It belongs to the canton of Grand Sud in the arrondissement of Sartène . It borders on Levie to the northwest, west and southwest , San-Gavino-di-Carbini to the northeast and Porto-Vecchio to the southeast . The settlement area is about 600 meters above sea level. The inhabitants call themselves Carbinais .
