Viggianello ( Corsican Vighjaneddu ) is a municipality with 814 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) on the French Mediterranean island of Corsica . It belongs to the Corse-du-Sud department , the Sartène arrondissement and the Sartenais-Valinco canton . It is bordered by Olmeto in the northwest , Fozzano in the northeast, Arbellara in the east, Sartène in the south and Propriano in the west . The settlement area is 312 meters above sea level. The residents call themselves Viggianellais .
