Foce is a municipality on the Mediterranean island of Corsica in France . It belongs to the Corse-du-Sud department , the Sartène arrondissement and the Sartenais-Valinco canton .

Geography and infrastructure

Neighboring municipalities are Sainte-Lucie-de-Tallano in the north, Levie in the east, Sartène in the south, Granace in the west and Olmiccia in the north-west. The municipality mark is almost exclusively forested and consists of the scattered settlements Foce and Bilzese. In Corsican they are called Foci and Bilzesi. The departmental road D65 connects Foce with Sartène at 622 meters above sea level. The Barrage de l'Ortolo reservoir is in the Foce, Sartène and Levie districts.
