Sari-Solenzara ( Corsican Sari di Portivechju ) is a municipality in the French department of Corse-du-Sud on the Mediterranean island of Corsica . It belongs to the canton of Bavella in the arrondissement of Sartène . It borders on Solaro to the north, the Tyrrhenian Sea to the east, Conca to the south and Quenza to the west . The coastal river Travo forms the border with Solaro. The inhabitants of Sari-Solenzara call themselves the Sarais, Solenzarais, Sarinchi or Sulinzaresi. The Col de Bavella mountain pass connects Sari-Solenzara with Zonza .
