The Romanesque-Pisan church of San Giovanni Battista of Poggio-di-Tallano is located in Sartenai on Corsica in the municipality of Sainte-Lucie-de-Tallano . It can only be reached on foot on a mule track that leads to the bridge over the Rizzanese. The towerless hall church consists of a nave and apse .

The church, built between 1125 and 1140, especially its west facade, is comparable to the church of the same name in nearby Carbini in terms of the structure of the gable field . Its seven arcades under the roof legs and those on the cornice are particularly identical. The entrance with the monolithic lintel and the semicircular arch is astonishingly high . Introduced motifs can be found in the gables and on the facades: calf heads, human masks and budding foliage. Five small heads in high relief on the southeast corner. In the middle of the building was a large baptismal font in the shape of a fountain .
