The Rizzanese is a river in France that runs in the Corse-du-Sud department on the island of Corsica . Its source brook Ruisseau de Prunetu , later Ruisseau de Pian di Santu , rises in the Corsica Regional Nature Park , on the northwest flank of Monte Calva (1381 m), in the municipality of Zonza . It generally drains south-west to west and flows into the Mediterranean after 44 kilometers in the municipality of Propriano in the Gulf of Valinco . In the estuary section, the river runs along the taxiway of the Aerodrome de Propriano-Tavaria airfield .

The Rizzanese can be ridden in kayaks , but is one of the most difficult white water rivers in Corsica.
