Trockhausen is a district of Schlöben in the Saale-Holzland district in Thuringia .

geography

Trockhausen is located south of the state road 1075 from Jena to Schöngleina and Bürgel and across from Mennewitz . The valley runs south of the village with the Grünzigbach towards Podelsatz .

history

The place was first mentioned on August 30, 1327. In 1998, 73 people lived in the place. The agricultural town used to belong to Mennewitz. The villages now work their fields together with Schlöben and look after the animals. The village has no church .
