The F 5 was a road in Corsica that was established in 1854 by the Décret Impérial in 1782. It was created to open up one of Corsica's forests for the timber industry. Operated by the state, it was a national road. The F5 connected the N193 at Col de la Serra with the port of Porto-Pollo and ran through several forests. Their length was 117.5 kilometers. In 1862 she gave a piece to the newly established N196 BIS . The length fell to 62.5 kilometers. In 1973 it was downgraded.
