The current national road represents a very short section between a junction of the Autobahn 35 to the German border.

Historic course of the road

The historic national road ran between Jeumont and Vervins from 1933 . In 1973 this route was downgraded. From 1987 the number was used for the expressway branching off from Autobahn 4 near Vendenheim , which was built in sections up to the German border until 1992 . There this street merged into Bundesstraße 9, which had been relocated to this point . In 1996, the motorway junction on the A4 until the last exit before the German border, the road to highway 35 rezoned so that the N 363 at only some hundred meters from the exit to the German border exists.
