Hanns Blaschek

Hanns Blaschek (born June 24, 1907 in Brüx , Austria-Hungary , † January 11, 1989 in Heilbronn ) was a German administrative officer and painter .

Life

He was born in Brüx in Bohemia , where he graduated from high school before studying law at the German Charles University in Prague . After graduating as a fully qualified lawyer and graduating as a Dr. jur. In 1933 he was an administrative officer. In 1939/40 he worked as an employee of the People's Political Department at the Reich Protector of Bohemia and Moravia , from 1940 to 1943 he was President of the State Authority for Bohemia in Prague, and from 1943 to 1945 Chief District Administrator for the Upper District District of Budweis. In 1943 he was used in occupied Riga . Blaschek was the brother-in-law of State Secretary Karl Hermann Frank .

From May 1945 to June 1955 Blaschek was in American and Czechoslovak captivity.

In 1955 he came to the Heilbronn District Office . Most recently, from 1959, he held the post of First State Official at the District Office in Künzelsau .

Blaschek was a founding member and 1970/71 President of the Lions Club in Bad Mergentheim . In 1987 he received the Golden Mint of the City of Heilbronn.

Artistic creation

He was already interested in art as a teenager and devoted himself intensively to painting, especially after the Second World War , which he learned partly autodidactically, partly through studying with Kausek in Graz, Oskar Kokoschka in Vienna and Heribert Losert in Munich. His artistic focus was on portraits, wall design, landscape depictions and abstract painting. He made numerous illustrations for a number of circle descriptions that appeared around 1970. He was a member of the Association of Visual Artists Baden-Württemberg and the Esslingen Artists' Guild. From 1958 to 1983 he was chairman of the Heilbronner Künstlerbund . He was also involved in international exhibitions and was awarded by the Conseil Europeen d'Art in Brussels. Some of his works are in public ownership.
